Edinburgh-Skala der postpartalen Depression (EPDS)
Die Edinburgh-Skala der postpartalen Depression ist ein Instrument zur Feststellung einer möglichen postpartalen Depression. Darin sollen von der betroffenen Mutter 10 verschiedene Aussagen im Hinblick auf die letzten sieben Tage bewertet werden. („So wie immer“, „Nicht ganz so wie früher“, „Deutlich weniger als früher“ und „Überhaupt nicht“. Anhand der Punktwerte kann ermittelt werden, ob wahrscheinlich eine postpartale Depression vorliegt.
